"I don’t quite remember what I was feeling but I do know that I painted six of these during my 1 hour art therapy session. I wouldn’t even talk about anything, I just wanted to paint. She gave us a gift card to use as our brush we dipped it in the paint and brushed it back and forth on the paper. I remember just losing myself, my story and just emptying all my hurt out, and this feeling of expansive zen would take over.
